Due to actions by the City of Whiting and its Mayor denying the Oilmen a place to play in 2026, the team will suspend operations for the 2026 season. This is one of the toughest things the team has ever had to share, but the Oilmen are incredibly grateful for the fans’ unwavering support over the past 14 seasons.
While the decision for this summer is unfortunate, the black and gold are actively negotiating an alternative location in Northwest Indiana for 2027. Stay tuned for future announcements.
