Schmidgall previously has worked in a variety of broadcasting roles. Charlie spent last summer as the broadcaster for the Lafayette Aviators of the Prospect League. Schmidgall has spent the last three years broadcasting for the Purdue Boilermakers on B1G+, including play-by-play and analyst duties for baseball, softball, basketball, soccer, volleyball, and swimming and diving. Schmidgall tries to share the joy of the game by informing and entertaining the audience.
