Oilmen Add Outfield Connor Hundall To The Mix This Season04/06/2012 12:41 PM - The Northwest Indiana Oilmen have added some outfield depth to their roster today by adding left-handed hitter Connor Hundall to the team. Hundall plays ball collegiately at Glen Oaks Community College in Centreville, Michigan and will be entering his sophomore season this spring.
Last season at Glen Oaks, Hundall hit .383 with 3 triples, 30 RBIs, and an impressive .440 on base percentage. After playing college ball there in the spring, he signed on with the Lima Locos of the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League (GLSCL) and assisted his team in winning the GLSCL Championship last summer. With the Locos Hundall hit .296 with 29 hits, 18 runs scored, and 13 RBIs in 31 games.
Hundall attended Clay High in South Bend, Indiana, his hometown. Fans should hope that Hundall can contribute to the Oilmen the same way he did with the Locos last season because if he does, he will be a huge contributor to the Oilmens success this season.
