All of the Oilmens hits came from the bottom three men in the order, Ryan Little, Colin Schmitke and Chris Suchoski. The Oilmen struggled came through with runners in scoring position, stranding six on base. “We had a couple of really big at-bats with runners in scoring position that we popped up on the infield,” Enright said. “We had two opportunities where we could realistically score two runs in each and then put the team in a position to score more runs.” The Oilmen drop a fourth consecutive game to the Generals and fall to 22-14. The Oilmen will look to snap their two-game skid against the Southland Vikings on Saturday night at Oil City Stadium in Whiting Ind. First pitch is set for 7:10 pm. |
