Oilmen Announce Five-Year Agreement with PepsiCo05/23/2014 10:15 AM - Whiting, Ind. – May 23, 2014 – The Northwest Indiana Oilmen have announced a five-year sponsorship agreement with PepsiCo. The partnership makes Pepsi the new official beverage of the Northwest Indiana Oilmen. “We’re very excited about the opportunity to share in the success of the Oilmen,” PepsiCo representative for recreation and retail Glenn Peters said. “We’re looking forward to our five-year partnership with the Northwest Indiana Oilmen as they continue with their success.” Oilmen President Don Popravak is enthusiastic about the team’s new long-term partnership with PepsiCo. “The relationship with this family of brands is important for our organization because it establishes a relationship with one of the most identifiable brands in the beverage marketplace,” Popravak said. “This aligns two great brands, the Northwest Indiana Oilmen and PepsiCo.” Fans will reap the benefits of the partnership as they enjoy refreshing soft drinks, including Pepsi, Dr. Pepper and Mountain Dew, at Oil City Stadium this season. The popular Mountain Dew Baja Blast drink will also be available at the ballpark. Additionally, the Oilmen will be serving Gatorade, the No. 1 sports drink in the United States.
