Wednesday’s Game Against Southland Postponed Whiting, Ind. – June 4, 2014 – Wednesday’s game between the Northwest Indiana Oilmen and Southland Vikings has been postponed due to inclement weather and unplayable field conditions. No makeup date has been announced. The Oilmen will return to action on Thursday night at 7:10 p.m. at Oil City Stadium against DuPage County. Tickets to Wednesday’s game will be good for Thursday’s game between the Oilmen and Hounds. This will be the first Thirsty Thursday of the season with $2 draft beer, soda and water available at the concession stand. The Oilmen will host Oilman Stan’s Third Birthday Celebration on Friday night against the Michigan City Lakers at 7:10 p.m. Fans will have the chance to sign a birthday card, enjoy cake and sing Happy Birthday to Stan.
