New Box Seats Installed at Oil City Stadium Whiting, Ind. – May 2, 2015 – New box seats have been installed at Oil City Stadium, enhancing the ballpark experience for Oilmen fans. The installation process for the new flip-up seats was completed on Friday. The seats are accompanied by cup holders for the convenience of those fans who choose to enjoy a tasty beverage during the game. The Northwest Indiana Oilmen open up their fourth season in the Midwest Collegiate League on May 31, with the first home game of the year scheduled to take place on Wednesday, June 10 at 7 p.m. against the Joliet Admirals. With the season right around the corner, tickets will go on sale on Tuesday on NWIOilmen.com. The new seating gives Oilmen fans another reason for excitement with a full summer of baseball on the horizon.
