Northwest Indiana Oilmen Host Ron Kittle Night at Oil City Stadium07/20/2012 10:14 AM - Northwest Indiana Oilmen Host Ron Kittle Night at Oil City Stadium On Saturday, July 21st, the Northwest Indiana Oilmen will host RON KITTLE NIGHT at Oil City Stadium. FREE autographed photos (limited quantities) will be given out. There will also be drawings for a Ron Kittle autographed jersey, as well as other Kittle autographed items. Ron Kitttle, an Indiana native and part-owner of the Oilmen, spent ten years in Major League Baseball, with the Chicago White Sox (1982-86, 1989, 1991), New York Yankees (1986-87), Cleveland Indians (1988) and Baltimore Orioles (1990). Kittle is now chairman of Indiana Sports Charities, which he founded in 1989. Its mission is to help find a cure for cancer by providing financial support.
