The lefty most recently pitched at Southwestern Illinois, where he has 10.2 innings pitched across 8 appearances. He struck out 10 batters in the limited body of work, while holding a 6.75 ERA. RJ also played errorless defense while in the field. RJ is a fan of the Chicago Cubs, and his favorite player is former crosstown rival Chris Sale. His favorite memories are pitching at major league ballparks, where the southpaw has thrown of the mound at both Guaranteed Rate Field (White Sox) and Busch Stadium (Cardinals). RJ boasts a four-pitch mix. RJ has a hidden talent: the ability to juggle! He also is a country music fan and has seen Zach Bryan in concert twice.
