His first campaign with the Rams showed his power potential, with half of his hits going for extra bases. Henschel demonstrated his ability in the outfield with 28 putouts and only 1 error. Henschel is a Cubs fan, and his favorite player is Bobby Witt Jr. His favorite memory of his playing career was hitting a walkoff grand slam at Cooperstown, the dream of any ball player. Henschel spent time shaping his game afterr Mookie Betts. Ryan has hobbies that include cooking, ice skating, and playing pond hockey. He used to play football as well.
