He played high school baseball at Oswego High School, where he lead the team to a pair of IHSA regional championships. Troy is a fan of the Chicago White Sox. His favorite player is David Ortiz. His favorite baseball memory was robbing a home run in the high school playoffs. Troy had a 4 pitch mix. His hobbies include working on cars and cooking. His favorite car is the Corvette, and he has one of his own. He is interested in a career in engineering sciences, and he would like to someday pursue a masters degree in mechanical engineering
