Noah Caceres will add to the infield for the Oilmen this summer. Caceres joins the squad after a breakout freshmam season at the University of Illinois- Springfield. In the Great Lakes Valley Conference of NCAA D2, Caceres batted .294 while making 15 starts in 20 games. He flexed his power with a .529 slugging percentage and he worked 12 walks to only 7 strikeouts. These stats gave Noah an impressive .968 OPS. Noah is a fan of the Chicago White Sox, and his favorite player is Robinson Cano. His favorite playing memory was hitting a walk off home run his freshman year of college. Caceres shapes his defensive prowess and big pop after Bryce Harper. Caceres used to play football, but nowadays prefers to spend his time on the diamond. When not playing baseball, he likes to look at the sky, spend time outside, and to build Legos. Hopefully he has built a trophy case out of Legos to keep his hardware from high school.
