Tommy had a successful season at Triton College this last year, putting up 30 strikeouts in only 25.1 innings pitched. Haggerty put together a respectable 4.26 ERA and 1.66 WHIP through the season. Tommy is a fan of the Chicago Cubs, and his favorite player is Tyler Glasnow. His favorite memory of his playing days was going to Cooperstown with his little league travel team. Haggerty has recovered from a lengthy injury after tearing his lat muscle in junior year of high school. Before the year-and-a-half recovery, he was the #1 ranked uncommitted player in the Midwest, and a top 5 uncommitted player in the nation according to some publications.
