Emmanuel Scott rejoins the Oilmen after a successful campaign in 2023. Scott played JUCO ball at Southwestern Illinois last season. He boasted a .246 batting average, and an impressive .952 OPS. Scott left the yard 5 times last year and brough home 21 RBI. Emmanuel also goes by the nickname "Eman". Emannuel is a fan of the Chicago Cubs, and his favorite player is Giants backstop Patrick Bailey. His favorite baseball memory is from back in 2018, when he walked off Triad High School in the state semifinals his freshman year. Scott grew up shaping his game after Yadier Molina and Indiana-native Tucker Barnhart. Scott has a very notable birthday, December 25th. What a Christmas present he was! He also has a strong connection to music, both playing an instrument in high school band and enjoying his guilty pleasure of country music. The squad is very excited to have Emmanuel return this season!
