Biography:
Nathan Byrdak joins the team after graduating from Lockport High School. Byrdak is commited to Triton College. He has spent time as both an infielder and pitcher in high school. He has played for the Cangelosi Sparks, and he will add to the Oilmen's talent this year. Nate is a fan of the Philadelphia Phillies, and his favorite player is Bryce Harper. His favorite memory of his baseball career is beating Providence Catholic in 10 innings during the playoffs. Byrdak has a five-pitch mix, and he has shaped his game after his brother. Byrdak's father, Tim, played in the MLB as a reliever for Kansas City, Baltimore, Detroit, Houston, and the New York Mets. His father registered 479 big league appearances while striking out 326 hitters in 339.2 innings pitched. Nathan also enjoys golfing, and his favorite snack is Rice Crispy Treats. He also has recovered from a torn labrum in his should his junior year, which kept him out of his high school season.
